We’ve edited using Final Cut since before AJA made boxes to support it. We had the first IO and the first KONA. The guys at AJA get better every year and their latest gear is rock solid.
A very exciting new development is the “KiPro”. This device creates 10-bit ProRes 4:2:2 media that is immediately available to FCP, and it also offers real-time 10-bit quality upconversion.
