Alex Zanardi won three CART championships and was on top of his game. He was a real racing star and the first non-American driver to be adored by American crowds and race fans. Then he lost both of his legs in a horrific crash while racing at Lausitz, Germany. Alex is extremely inspiring because he has gone on to continue racing, and winning. He is a lesson for us all because he lives his life to the fullest, and with a smile on his face, despite his handicap.
